We are licensed ministers of the Universal Life Church who can perform all types of ceremonies; from weddings to civil unions, to baby naming, home blessing and baptisms.  We are also California licensed attorneys who specialize in wills, trusts and estates.

The theory behind the United Life Church is that one should do what makes one happy...so long as it does not interfere with the rights and happiness of another.

It is irrelevant is one is Gay, Lesbian, Transgender, Transsexual, or more.  What matters is the love for one another and the desire to care for and  spend the rest of ones lives together...that's marriage and we firmly believe that it equally describes mayrriage.

We are all children of the same universe

THE WEDDING:

The wedding ceremony can be as simple or complex as the parties desire.  We have a conference room with a view of the Pasadena Skyline that we can decorate, or we can arrange to have a banquet hall with catering; the decision is entirely up to the happy couple.  Of course, the cost does increase with the size of the wedding party.  We can provide the two necessary witnesses, however, the betrothed must visit the City Clerk's Office, together, to sign the formal State Wedding Documentation.  Ours is the actual ceremony for the wedding, but the marriage is not official until both parties sign the forms, together, at the City Clerk's Office; there is no blood test required in California to be issued a marriage license.

THE TRUST ACCOUNTS:

It would not be fair for me, as an attorney, to not inform all potential couples that the marriage license received in California may not be recognized by your individual State and most likely not by the Federal Government for married couple tax benefits...HOWEVER...as trust attorneys we do have a solution to this issue that can be discussed before or after the wedding at the happy couple's convenience.  Basically, each party creates an individual trust that pours over to the other trust.  Each provide durable powers of healthcare to the other (prevents the Terry Schivo problems) and each trust has durable powers of asset management for after acquired property.  Basically, we take care of you from start to middle to end, or up to anywhere in between you feel most comfortable.

==========================================

Our goal is to bring love, peace, joy and happiness to as many people as possible, using the skills and the many licenses we have, we believe the low cost weddings and reduced cost trusts are one way for us to "pay it forward".

We believe anyone two people who are in love, should have the same rights as any heterosexual couple.  After all...

"We hold these truths to be self-evident that all people were created equal, that they were endowed by their creator with certain unalienable rights.  Among these are the rights to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness."

Are you someone that is concerned about protecting your family and loved ones?  Do you want to protect your assets from the government if you should pass away?

If you are married, have a life-partner, have children or own a home, then you need to consider providing a FAMILY TRUST to protect your loved ones.
